The paid plan is live! This is the culmination of over two years (and thousands of hours) of work, bringing countless modifications and new features to Gmail. You can sign up now and setup all your accounts to have continued access.
For those that asked for a way to disable auto-renew at sign up, I tried really hard but it just wasn't supported by my payment processor. Instead, I make it super easy to turn off auto-renew after you sign up. Click on "Modify subscription" and there is a "Do not renew" link in red. You can undo that change up until the subscription expires after which you will have to sign up and set up a new subscription if you want to renew.
I recently used gmail on a computer without Simplify for the first time in a few months and couldn't believe the difference. Signing up right away!
My feature request which probably doesn't fall within your domain: markdown conversion to code formatting when composing emails. Can't believe this is not a solved problem yet.
Hi Michael. Just subscribed annually. Thank you for all of your hard work. Do I add my additional Gmail accounts that I want to be added to the subscription in the Add Email for .... section?
Yes, if they are your email accounts, add away in the "Add email for..." input. If they are for someone else, you'll want to add those people and their email addresses under them. Welcome aboard!
Congratulations! Thank you for all the mind-space you've saved us all these last few years. It has been a great tool for me and I look forward to many more years using Simplify.
Great news all around, and congrats on the launch!!
Bundles would be amazing, even if it is a long shot. Custom bundles would be a dream — or at least the ability to filter particular groups of messages/senders to a specific bundle (I used to do this in categories, but prefer to have just one tab/inbox now).
Can you elaborate a bit more on ‘notes’? Something like Keep, but more easily integrated with the inbox?
It would be like Google Inbox if you ever used that. You could write a note (stand alone or on an email thread) and optionally set a reminder so that note/thread pops back to the top of your inbox at a certain time.
Obviously this is way above and beyond UI niceties, but what I miss most is Bundles. Email has been about 78% more a pain in the arse since Google foolishly murdered Inbox.
If you wanted to get a team together with however much ML expertise might be necessary, sufficient capital and compute resources, and replicate or improve upon Bundles -- if that's even technically possible as a 3rd party -- I would pay $19.95/month for it.
If not possible with Gmail, consider founding Leggett-mail. :-)
So it's a Gmail...that you have to pay for? I mean, emai is cool in the sense that it represens a global communication network that allows people to sed messages to eaah other...until you realize that less than ten percent of email sent is even opened...and of the five to ten percennt of email that is opened, les than fifty percent of those are deleted without being read by the recipient. I'm not sure what the extemion is for, but I do not believe I need to pay for it.
I do not. I've tried to make it as cheap as I can for everyone and plan to build a referral system to reward those who spread the word to others with discounts on their own plan.
i hope the developer doesn't mind me posting this. i found a fairly easy way to mimic a few of the most basic UI changes that Simplify Gmail offers using the Stylebot extension. please see the following for more details:
this was really just an exercise that i was curious about and was happy with the results given the time it took me to implement this, especially given i have no web programming or CSS skills.
going through this exercise i also really gained an appreciation for the developer's work and efforts in maintaining this extension. i attempted to mimic a few other more advanced UI changes and came up short. i do believe they can be achieved with Stylebot but with my limited knowledge and lack of time this is as good as it gets for me.

Anyway, thanks for a great product

Congratulations Michael! I've signed up for the year :)
Michael, thanks for Simplify Gmail. This subscription was a no-brainer and the pricing was perfect. Thanks for all your hard work. :-)

Ah yes, thx! I couldn’t remember how that was implemented in Inbox. Definitely a vote for that, too!

Any possibility to have purchasing power parity pricing, to adjust price according to the inflation rate of the country?
Awesome! We're (literally) suffering here in Brazil...
I'm guessing this doesn't include the YouTube, Facebook, Twitter bundle you previously mentioned. Yet... right?
Do you offer a student discount?
I do not. I've tried to make it as cheap as I can for everyone and plan to build a referral system to reward those who spread the word to others with discounts on their own plan.

I have tried four cc's to pay, but the system will not accept any of them, despite that cards are valid. How can I subscribe?
